From PC Mag: Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile is set to close in two months, according to publisher Activision. The last day you'll be able to play the game on Android or iOS will be April 17, 2026. The move comes almost a year after publisher Activision removed the title from mobile storefronts, meaning new players could no longer download the game.
The hit battle royale Call of Duty Warzone’s experiment on mobile is ending. Publisher Activision has announced it’s taking the first steps to sunset the mobile version of Warzone after it fell below the company's expectations.
The game’s servers will remain live for the foreseeable future, but it will be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store sometime today.
On X, Activision confirmed it would end updates to the mobile version of the game. "This decision was made after careful consideration of various factors, and while we're proud of the accomplishment in bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way, it unfortunately has not met our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences.”
