New Moto G Stylus Comes With Improved Pen, Adds AI-Enhanced Sketching

From PC Mag: Motorola is back with two new devices: an addition to its cheaper G series of smartphones and a tablet called the Moto Pad, marking a soft reset for the brand’s Android slate family.

The new Moto G Stylus (2026) is the brand’s latest phone to feature a pen-like stylus. This remains a unique selling point, as no other popular manufacturers offer a stylus on any phone other than a flagship.

However, Motorola has raised the price by $100 compared with the last-generation G Stylus. This new handset costs $499.99, the same as the Google Pixel 10a.

The stylus on the latest Moto G is now more useful than previous iterations, thanks to tilt and pressure sensitivity, which Motorola says enable “broader shading, finer lines, and more natural strokes” to better emulate a pen on paper. This is only available in supported apps, and Motorola has yet to confirm which those will be.
