Firefox Tests Option to Add Notes to Open Browser Tabs

From PC Mag: It's easy to get overwhelmed by browser tabs, but Firefox is testing a new system that will allow you to add annotations to help you remember why you were looking at them in the first place.

First spotted by Windows Report, the notes option appeared in the latest version of Firefox Nightly, a beta version of the browser often used for experimental features that may or may not get released. It has yet to be announced by Mozilla, but Windows Report spotted it after right-clicking on the navigation bar; it appears between the Bookmark Tab and Move Tab as Add Note.

Select it to type in a short line of text and press Save. For example, you may want to add notes while researching holiday gifts, like a preferred color, model, or size of an item.

When you return to the tab, it’ll show a small notepad icon. Pressing that image displays what you wrote and gives you an option to edit or delete the note. The note remains visible until the Firefox tab is closed. So, it won't pop up if you return to the site later.
