Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Is Out Later This Week, Costs $2,899

From PC Mag: Want to be among the first people to own a triple-fold smartphone? Samsung’s new Galaxy Z TriFold is set to go on sale in the US later this week.

The foldable phone launches on Friday, Jan. 30. It will be available to buy through Samsung’s Experience Stores, which include seven locations across California, Minnesota, New York, and Texas, or through its website.

Samsung isn’t running preorders for the Galaxy Z TriFold, so you may have to act quickly on Friday to secure one as the brand sold out within minutes during its South Korean launch. Samsung has yet to confirm what time the phone will go on sale.

If you plan to buy one, this is likely to be the most you’ve ever spent on a smartphone: it costs $2,899. You can pick up the phone in its Crafted Black color, and you’ll get 512GB of storage. Samsung isn’t offering alternative colors or storage sizes at this time, even though it does sell a 1TB version elsewhere.
