A few friends and I have been playing Palworld. For those who do not know, quoting Wikipedia, Palworld's premise "involves using firearms and equipping Pals with them", which has "earned it the nickname 'Pokémon with guns'." We decided to do a 30-day server, where we try to get as strong as we can and beat the game. To wrap it up, we are going to do a tournament-style battle. In light of the competition, we have all naturally split into separate factions. Some claim they will take over the world while doing nothing. Others say they are innocent while wreaking havoc on other’s bases. Some swear to be pacifists while creating weapons of mass destruction. I think the whole server knows that I am turning the cutest Pals into nuclear monsters. The strategy is to have them underestimate the strength of my team until it is already too late. Our competitive natures have been sparked, and we are now pushing for every advantage we could possibly get. That is where the SCUF Omega comes to play. The Omega is a controller that offers the user a feature-rich controller that is capable of dominating its competition. Will the SCUF Omega be what I need to beat them all? Keep reading to find out!
Our review unit of the SCUF Omega arrived in a tightly wrapped in a plastic that covered many layers of bubble wrap underneath. The box was shipped to us here in Calgary, Alberta from Mississauga, Ontario via DHL eCommerce. The shipping process was good with no visible impact on the retail box. I was not worried about the condition of the product itself, as there was no noticeable damage.
The SCUF Omega’s box design is quite standard to the PS5 branding, using a white, black, and blue design. This is because the Omega is an officially licensed controller for the PS5. PlayStation’s branding can be found on the top left, while SCUF’s is on the top right. The Omega name is placed on the bottom left. The back mentions some additional features and specifications. This is a straightforward design that offers very minimal, but relevant, information. Personally, I appreciate this, as it reduces clutter.

Out of the box, you will receive the SCUF Omega inside of its case alongside all of its accessories. These accessories include three additional thumbsticks, two inner paddle blanking plates, two side action blanking plates, a USB Type-C cable, and the 2.4GHz dongle. The controller arriving inside of its case prevented any surface scratches. This is a good way to ship the product, as it keeps the packaging tight and protects the controller. The Omega came with a lot more accessories than I expected, and I was quite pleased with the packaging.
