Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro Review

In the past few months, I have been trying to get back into bouldering. After the pandemic, I found I more or less lost the urge to do the sport I once loved so much. The years being away have truly made me feel quite weak and rusty. I do not know if it is just me being so far removed from the community for so long or if the bar has gotten higher, but I am noticing the routes that are set are much harder than they used to be. I contribute this to the growth in climbers nowadays, as many climbers can do routes I have never seen before. It is interesting to see how creative people have become, as this is an evolving sport with so many methods to go about each problem. I feel like a complete novice once again being someone who is trying to get their foot in the game once again, which is not necessarily bad. Being at the entry point is merely my first step in this process, just like buying a budget mechanical keyboard is the start of someone’s journey into mechanical keyboards. Today, we have a collaboration between Epomaker and AULA with the F65 Pro, a 65% keyboard that offers wireless connectivity. Will the Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro be able to satisfy a beginner's needs? Keep reading to find out!

Our review unit of the Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro came alongside the Epomaker x AULA F108 tightly wrapped in plastic that covers many layers of bubble wrap underneath. The box was shipped to us here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from Shenzhen, China via Canada Post. The shipping process was fine with some marks on the edges of the retail box. I was not worried about the condition of the product itself, as there was no noticeable damage.

The Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro’s box design is aesthetically pleasing, using a black, white, and a bright blue exterior. The front displays F65 Pro on the right side of the box. On the left is the name of the keyboard itself, alongside a brief explanation of the keyboard itself below. Above it, we have the Epomaker and AULA branding. The back contains very little information. The front edge of the box talks about some features of the keyboard itself. This is a straightforward design that offers very minimal information. Personally, I do not mind this, as I appreciate the simplicity and lack of clutter.
